    How It Works

    GeckoCrew moves the play up onto the walls. A fan inside the body pulls air out from underneath it, so the ordinary air pressure in the room presses it flat against the surface, and four driven feet walk it upward while that pressure holds it there.
    Nothing sticky, no suction cups, and nothing left behind on your paint.

    As Easy As It Gets

    • STEP 1

      Charge It Full

      Plug the included USB cable into the port on the gecko's back. Two AAA batteries go in the remote, and the screwdriver for the battery door is already in the box.

    • STEP 2

      Switch To Mode II

      Mode I is silent and drives on floors only. Mode II runs the fan, and Mode II is the one that climbs. This is the step almost everybody misses on the first try.

    • STEP 3

      Hold It On The Wall

      Press it flat against a smooth clean wall, hold the power button for two to three seconds, then let go. It takes hold and starts walking.

      How does it stay on the wall?

      A fan inside the body pulls air out from underneath it.

      That drops the pressure under the gecko, so the ordinary air pressure in the room presses it flat against the surface. Four driven feet then walk it along while the fan keeps holding it there. There is no glue, no suction cup and no magnet anywhere in it.

      You will hear the fan while it climbs. That sound is the part doing the work.

      Keep it to smooth clean surfaces
      like painted drywall, glass, doors, tiles and mirrors.

      Nine times out of ten it is one of three things. Check for
      Mode II on the switch, a dusty or heavily textured wall, and a flat battery. Almost every report of it not sticking turns out to be the mode switch.
